Patrick Metzger is a trained drum teacher and studied at the BFS Dinkelsbühl, Conservatorium Maastricht and the Popakademie Mannheim. In addition to his work as a live drummer in various bands, he has been playing in the band of pop singer Beatrice Egli for several years. Furthermore, he founded his own "Drumsformers" drum school in Mannheim, conducts many workshops and drum seminars and takes care of the drummer network at Percussion Creativ as an advisor.
He completed his percussion training with, among others, Dom Famularo, Prof. Udo Dahmen, David Garibaldi, Claus Hessler, Benny Greb and Jost Nickel.
